AI 3D model generator

AI 3D models for Godot

Godot's documentation recommends glTF 2.0 for 3D scenes, which is exactly what the generator outputs. Drop the GLB into your project and it imports with its materials.

From a FLUX.2 Klein concept image, meshed with Rodin Gen-2.

Optimised for the web; the file you download from the studio is full size.

Which format to use: GLB

Godot recommends glTF 2.0 in both text and binary form. OBJ works but drops PBR materials.
Recommended
glTF 2.0 (.gltf and .glb) is Godot's recommended 3D format.
OBJ
Supported but limited: no pivots, skeletons, animations, UV2 or PBR materials.
FBX
Imported through ufbx by default since Godot 4.3.
Our output
Rodin Gen-2 at default settings: about 30,000 to 40,000 triangles with 2048 × 2048 PBR maps.

From prompt to finished file

  1. Make the model

Generate it and download the GLB.

  2. Copy it into the project

Put the .glb in your project folder; Godot imports it as a scene.

  3. Instance it

Drag the scene into your level, or open it as a new inherited scene to add collisions.

Tips for better results

  • Add collision on import

In the import dock, generate a simplified collision shape rather than using the dense render mesh.

  • Bake LODs

Godot can generate LODs on import, which helps with dense AI meshes.

  • Keep a consistent style

Reuse the same style words in every prompt so props belong together.

Where AI models fall short

Worth knowing before you plan a project around them.
  • Dense meshes: enable LOD generation and simple collision shapes on import.
  • Models are static; rig characters in Blender first.

Questions

Something else? Ask us and a person will answer.

Does Godot support GLB?

Yes. Godot's docs recommend glTF 2.0, text or binary, as the 3D format to use.

Should I use OBJ instead?

Only for a plain mesh. Godot's OBJ import has no PBR materials, skeletons or animation.

Why does my model come out the wrong size?

GLB is measured in metres and AI models are usually about a metre across. Scale it in your tool, or use the free converter, which can set an exact height in millimetres for printing.
