Meshy's pricing docs and help center list different credit costs per generation; both are linked below.

Where each one is stronger

Where Meshy is stronger

  • Lower cost per model on entry plans, and a free monthly allowance.
  • Its own 3D models, built only for 3D, plus FBX and BLEND export.
  • An API for automating 3D generation.

Where PhotoGenius is stronger

  • A full image and video studio around the 3D models: design the input with Nano Banana Pro, GPT Image 2.5 or FLUX 3, then mesh it, and animate the render with 7 video models.
  • Every image you make has a Make 3D action, and Flows can mesh a whole list of prompts or images in one run.
  • Free 3D file converters that run in the browser with no account, including STL and 3MF scaled to millimetres for printing.
  • One credit balance and one price list for images, video and 3D, with failed runs refunded automatically.

Questions

Something else? Ask us and a person will answer.

Is PhotoGenius a good Meshy alternative?

If you also make images and video and want 3D in the same studio, yes. If you only make 3D models and want the lowest price per model or an API, Meshy is the better fit today.

Can I use Meshy's models in PhotoGenius?

No. PhotoGenius runs Rodin Gen-2.5, Rodin Gen-2.5 Fast, Tripo H3.1, TRELLIS.2, Rodin Gen-2 and Hunyuan3D 3.1.

Can I get STL or USDZ from PhotoGenius?

Yes. The generator outputs GLB, and the free converter turns it into STL, 3MF, OBJ, USDZ, PLY or glTF in your browser.
