Questions about the free generator

Something else? Ask us and a person will answer.

Is it really free?

Yes. You can create 5 images without an account or a card. After that, a plan gives you monthly credits for every model. Plans start at $10 a month for 100 credits ($8 a month billed yearly), and the exact cost of every generation shows on the Generate button before you run it. Failed generations are refunded automatically.

Which model does the free generator use?

FLUX.2 Klein from Black Forest Labs, a fast FLUX model that returns images in a few seconds.

How is it different from Image Studio?

The free generator runs one fast model at a square size. Image Studio adds 7 image models, reference images, edits and resolutions up to 4K, plus video and 3D.

Can I use the images commercially?

Commercial use is included on the Pro and Business plans. See the Terms of Service for the details of the license.

What can't I create?

Anything our Terms of Service rule out, including NSFW and other sexual content, sexual content involving minors, non-consensual imagery of real people, illegal content, hate speech and deceptive deepfakes. Those requests are blocked before an image is made.
